More technophiles than technophobes in Ollerton and Boughton
A survey carried out by ODEF revealed that members of the community of Ollerton and Boughton are fairly technology savvy. Nearly 80% of respondents said that they had a computer and could use the internet - even if only slightly - and nearly 60% used the web daily. Most people were interested in finding out about news and events, but a reasonable percentage had tried online banking and shopping. The results of the survey will help guide ODEF in the development of its community website. If you are a member of the public who is interested in the project, please contact Louise Tarrant by telephoning 01623 863887 or emailing louise@odef.co.uk
