Principal funders

  Big Lottery Fund (2007-2010)
ODEF’s ‘Community Breaks’ initiative is funded by the Big Lottery, through their ‘Reaching Communities’ programme.

  Coalfields Regeneration Trust (2005-2008)
ODEF’s employment service is funded through the Coalfield Regeneration Trust’s main grant programme under the ‘Supporting People into Work’ theme.

  Futurebuilders
ODEF has received a Development Grant from Futurebuilders. This will enable ODEF to develop a proposal to expand our range of public services, particularly in relation to training and education.

Other funders

From time to time, ODEF receives other funding from charitable trusts and statutory authorities to carry out specific projects. Recently, these have included: The Four Acre Trust, Community Champions, the Co-op Community Dividend Fund, Nottinghamshire County Council and Alliance SSP (Sustainable Communities fund).
