Are you a local resident who would like to improve your reading, writing and maths skills in a friendly, relaxed environment? Our qualified ‘Skills for Life’ trainer can offer one-to-one support so that you can gain confidence in your ability and progress to a nationally-recognised qualification that is a working equivalent to a GCSE. The tuition is given in a flexible way in order to fit with your own timescales and lifestyle. Home visits are also available if requested.

The training can help you to:

• Gain confidence in preparation for returning to work
• Help your children with their homework
• Obtain a qualification that is recognised by employers.

Our trainer can also provide one-to-one I.T. taster sessions that will introduce you to the basics of operating a computer, including using a mouse and keyboard, as well as providing an introduction to the internet.
